Whiskey SauceCategories: Essnce13 Yield: 1 servings 2 c Half-and-half 1/3 c Sugar 2 tb Cornstarch 3 tb Water Whiskey; to taste In a small saucepan slowly heat half-and-half and sugar. In a small bowl whisk cornstarch with 3 tablespoons water. Slowly stream cornstarch into hot mixture, stirring constantly. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Sauce will thicken; thin slightly, if necessary. Add whiskey, to taste. Keep warm until ready to serve. This recipe yields 2 cups of sauce.
