Tahini WalnutsCategories: Vegetarian , Veg1 Yield: 1 servings 2 Cloves garlic; crushed 1 ts Salt 6 fl Tahini 6 oz Walnuts crushed 1/4 ts Cayenne 1/2 ts Coriander seeds. crushed 2 Thick slices wholemeal -bread; finely crumbed 3 oz Sesame seeds; lightly -toasted 1. Combine the garlic, salt, tahini, walnuts, cayenne and coriander in a bowl or a blender and whisk to a smooth paste. 2. Slowly add the breadcrumbs, stirring all the time to form a paste that is firm enough to hold its own shape. 3. Form the mixture into walnut size balls and roll them in the toasted sesame seeds. Stick each one on a cocktail stick and refrigerate until ready to serve. NOTES : Makes about 1lb. Make these delicious sticky walnut balls some time before you will need them. ----- ---------- |
