Swiss Steak MediterraneanCategories: Crockpot, Meats Yield: 6 Servings 2 c Spaghetti sauce 1/2 ts Dried whole oregano 1 ts Salt 1/4 ts Pepper 1 3/4 lb Beef round steak, trimmed of -fat, cut into 6 pieces 2 md Onions, cut into chunks 1/2 lb Small whole fresh mushrooms -(about 2 cups) Stir first four ingredients together in bowl. Place steak pieces in 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. Pour 1/3 of sauce over and between pieces. Sprinkle onion and mushrooms over top. Pour remaining 2/3 of sauce over all. Cover.
