Strawberries in Wine

2 pt Fresh strawberries hulled
1 c Dry red wine
1/4 c Brandy (optional)

Spoon strawberries into serving bowl; pour wine and brandy over. Let stand
2 to 3 hours; stir occasionally. Store in covered container. Yield: 6
