Orange-Tinted Cream-Cheese FrostingCategories: Stewart1 Yield: 1 servings 1 lb Cream cheese; room -temperature 8 tb Unsalted butter; room -temperature 2 c Sifted confectioners' sugar 1 ts Vanilla extract Orange food-coloring paste In the large bowl of an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla and beat on low speed for several minutes until smooth. Using a wooden toothpick, add food-coloring paste to desired color. Makes about 3 cups.
