White Chocolate Orange Tart
bowl. Refrigerate until cool but not set, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, using electric mixer, beat 1/2 cup chilled whipping cream and vanilla extract in medium bowl to stiff peaks. Fold whipped cream into white chocolate mixture. Spoon filling into crust; smooth top. Refrigerate tart until filling is set, about 4 hours. (Tart can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and keep refrigerated.) Sprinkle white chocolate shavings over tart. Garnish with mint leaves and rose petals and serve. White Chocolate Mousse in Tulip Cups With Fresh Strawberries
berries. Hull and chop remaining berries, then puree in food processor or blender with jam and orange liqueur. To serve, spoon strawberry sauce onto each dessert plate. Place a filled tulip cup in the center of the sauce and a reserved berry on top of each dessert. Makes 8 large or 12 medium servings. *To prepare, combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup water in heavy saucepan; bring to boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cook over medium heat, without stirring until golden. Remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups toasted almonds. Spread mixture onto buttered cookie sheet to cool, then chop coarsely. Walnut Brandy Torte
(FILLING): Sprinkle gelatin over cream and whip. Stir in icing sugar and brandy. Layer cakes and filling on platter, saving enough cream to frost top and sides and to make rosettes along bottom sides with a pastry tube. Position walnuts in rosettes. This cake can be made half a day in advance and chilled. Cut into 10 slices.
